Lathrop High School students presented the delightful musical, “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown”, last Friday and Saturday evenings. The performance was entertaining and well directed, and the Peanuts characters were cast to a tee, as the audience was taken through an average day in the life of Charlie Brown.
An average day in the life of the lovable hero consists of his unproclaimed adoration of the Little Red Headed Girl, obtaining psychiatric help from the infamous Dr. Lucy Van Pelt, and various interactions with his sister, friends and dog Snoopy, who fancies himself a World War I flying ace, nemesis of the Red Baron. Darian James perfectly displayed the “Snoopy attitude”.
